Issy & Poppy: The Case of the Twin Tails
(A Kids’ Edition Adventure)
🐾 Dad: It was one of those lazy Andalusian mornings when Issy & Poppy were in the garden, sun streaming across the olive trees and the two greyhounds snoozing peacefully. Trouble arrived in the form of Master Whisker-Wan, the Jedi hamster, muttering about a disturbance in the Force or possibly a missing biscuit.
🐶 Issy: He’s at it again, Dad
🐕 Poppy: Who
🐶 Issy: The hamster with the cloak. He just dashed past muttering about The Force and missing biscuits
🐾 Dad: Morning, Master Whisker-Wan! Trouble in the galaxy again
🐹 Master Whisker-Wan: Grave disturbances, I sense. Crumbs there are but biscuits there are not
🔍 The Investigation
A trail of missing biscuits, a chewed wire, and the faint hum of lightsabre practice led us to the rosemary bush
Beneath it: another hamster. Rounder. Scruffier. Holding a pen-lid lightsabre
🐾 Dad: And you might be
🐹 Stanley: Stanley Whisker-Wan. Twin brother to that dramatic furball you call Master
⚔️ Twin Trouble
🐹 Master Whisker-Wan: You left the Order to chase cheese
🐹 Stanley: Balanced living, brother – a biscuit in each paw and peace in your heart
🐶 Issy: So – two hamsters. One serious, one silly
🐕 Poppy: Double the crumbs
Their squeaky debate over The Snack Force echoed around the garden
💡 The Truth
Issy inspected the damaged wire
🐶 Issy: Dad, this connects to the biscuit tin
🐹 Stanley: All right, fine. I was building a Snack Distribution System. Revolutionary
🐾 Dad: You shorted my van’s electrics
🐹 Stanley: In my defence, the blue wire looked very snack-coloured
🐕 Poppy: Maybe the Force could guide them towards a broom and dustpan
🌅 Peace Restored
After repairs and apologies, the brothers held a truce council. Master Whisker-Wan promised meditation lessons; Stanley promised fewer experiments and more sharing
As the sun dipped low, both sat cross-legged on a pebble meditating
🐹 Stanley: Do you think the Force could fetch biscuits
🐹 Master Whisker-Wan: Patience, brother. Patience
🐶 Issy: Another case closed
🐕 Poppy: Until someone eats the evidence
🐾 Dad: Peace returned – at least until breakfast
